The fully automated storage rack from Kardex Remstar was recently put into operation at the WIKO Poland production site. Here, all roll labels of the GLUETEC brand products and the numerous private label products are clearly arranged and stored under the best conditions. The closed system ensures constant storage temperatures and a defined humidity so the sensitive labels are optimally protected and can be stored for a longer time. The compact design with the vertically circulating shelves also allows the available space to be optimally utilised - maximum storage volume on a minimum floor space.
Furthermore, time is saved during order picking and errors are avoided: the "goods-to-person" principle helps employees to process more orders under better conditions. The employee simply selects the desired product on the display. The horizontal carousel storage systems automatically dispense the goods at the ergonomically designed operating opening, where employees can conveniently take them out. Thanks to the new Kardex Remstar storage lift, orders can now be processed even more efficiently and quickly at the Polish production site.
