Since 2001, the Würzburg-based high-tech company va-Q-tec has been developing, producing and distributing innovative insulation solutions based on energy-efficient, space-saving and at the same time environmentally friendly vacuum insulation panels, which are used, among other things, as thermal packaging systems for demanding temperature-controllable logistics processes. GLUETEC supplied a special high-performance adhesive for the production of the va-Q-pal pallet containers, which can maintain constant temperatures in the low temperature range without external energy supply. In addition to moisture and temperature resistance, sustainability and ease of use were particularly important aspects in the selection of the adhesive. After joint tests in the GLUETEC laboratory as well as climatic storage test, load and long-term resistance tests, the appropriate adhesive solution for the recyclable disposable transport containers was found. Thus the GLUETEC GROUP consolidates its market position as a solution partner for special high-performance adhesives. Short distances between the company headquarters in the Würzburg region enabled a fast and personal cooperation as well as seamless delivery for this individual project.
