" LYON, France & GREUSSENHEIM, Germany & Czestochowa, Poland – September 26, 2025: Oryx Chemical, part of Oryx Partner, a leading European group in specialty chemical distribution and transformation, has completed the strategic acquisition of Gluetec Group, a specialist in high-performance adhesives and custom chemical solutions.
The acquisition supports Oryx Chemical's strategy, spearheaded by Erwan Menard, the Managing Director, to strengthen its capabilities in developing tailor-made products for small to medium-volume orders – a previously identified strategic gap. This step follows the company's ongoing European expansion, complementing previous acquisitions such as Acrom (2019) and Fenoplast (2023), and further reinforcing Oryx Chemical's transformation and customisation expertise.
The integration of Gluetec Group provides immediate strategic advantages, including enhanced service capabilities in repacking, rebranding, tailored solutions, and contract filling. It also provides direct access to WIKO’s advanced laboratory and engineering resources, enabling further innovation, testing, and certification development. Additionally, the acquisition strengthens Oryx Chemical’s market position in Germany and expands its presence in key Eastern European markets.
Founders Wilhelm Kopp and Christine Kopp expressed their gratitude for the trust and support of customers, partners, and employees over many successful years of company development.
