The GLUETEC BU test kit following a positive Schalm test result: The bacteriological milk test (BU) offers you a comprehensive, cost-effective solution for the targeted diagnosis of mastitis at the TGD laboratory in Ried (AT). The BU specifically identifies mastitis pathogens in milk – a crucial step towards prevention and optimal treatment. An antibiogram from the laboratory then shows which antibiotics are effective or resistant to the isolated germs.
The GLUETEC BU test kit provides sterile sample tubes with stabiliser, a test request form and clear instructions for clean sampling – exactly as required by the regional chambers to avoid contamination and maximise laboratory accuracy. Once received by the laboratory, you will receive precise results that can be integrated directly into your herd management system (e.g. LKV herd manager or RDV mobile app).
