With WIKO® ROPE GREASE, GLUETEC expands its range in the field of greasing, oiling and lubricating with a tough-adhering lubricant for industrial applications. The solvent-based aerosol forms a dry, non-dust-binding protective and lubricating film in sufficient layer thickness after the solvent has evaporated. This film remains tough-elastic, water-resistant as well as adhesive, pressure-resistant and impact-resistant – without becoming brittle in cold conditions. This makes WIKO® ROPE GREASE suitable for application areas where components need to be reliably protected, lubricated and kept moving. Typical applications can be found in steelworks and rolling mills, on drives for transport and conveyor systems, wire ropes, gears and other mechanically stressed components.

Protection and lubrication under changing conditions

In everyday industrial operations, lubricants must do more than simply reduce friction. They are expected to reduce wear, prevent corrosion and stabilise movement processes. WIKO® ROPE GREASE supports these requirements with a lubricating film that has a noise-dampening effect, can help prevent jerky start-up and is also suitable for the preservation of wire ropes. Thanks to its heat resistance of up to approx. +100 °C – briefly up to +180 °C – the product is also suitable for applications involving radiant heat as well as outdoor use. The temperature range from -30 °C to +100 °C supports reliable use under changing environmental conditions.

Targeted application from the 400 ml spray can

WIKO® ROPE GREASE is available in a 400 ml spray can and can be applied precisely. Before application, old lubricant residues should be removed with a suitable cleaner; in cases of heavy contamination, additionally with a brush or scraper. After intensive shaking and a short spray test, the product is applied from a distance of approx. 25 cm.
