WIKO® ROPE GREASE is a highly adhesive, solvent-based lubricant. After the solvent has been flashed off, a lubricating film of sufficient thickness remains. This lubricating film forms a dry, dust-repellent, adhesive, pressure- and impact-resistant protective and lubricating film that is tough, elastic, and water-resistant, and does not become brittle in cold temperatures.
Typical applications include drives, wire ropes, gears, pulley systems and other mechanically stressed components. WIKO® ROPE GREASE can also be used as additional corrosion protection for vehicle underbodies and chassis components. Thanks to its good heat resistance of approximately 100°C, it can also be used in the presence of radiant heat or outdoors (in the heat of midsummer).
