Product information "ROPE GREASE"
WIKO® SEILFETT is a highly adhesive, solvent-based lubricant. Once the solvent has evaporated, a lubricating film of sufficient thickness remains. This lubricating film forms a dry, non-dust-attracting, adhesive, pressure- and impact-resistant protective and lubricating film that is tough, elastic and water-resistant, and does not become brittle in cold conditions. WIKO® SEILFETT is used in many industrial sectors, e.g. in smelting and rolling mills, in the drives of transport and conveyor systems, on wire ropes, on gear wheels and much more. Thanks to its good heat resistance of approx. 100°C, it can also be used in applications involving radiant heat or outdoors (in the heat of midsummer).
