BLOCK BOND® was developed with professional users in mind. Its innovative formula does not contain any ingredients suspected of being carcinogenic and complies with the relevant requirements and restrictions of the REACH Regulation.
Another advantage: The mandatory user training required under EU Regulation 2020/1149—often referred to as the “isocyanate license”—is not required. As a result, BLOCK BOND® reduces the effort involved in application, training, and documentation—without compromising performance.

APPLICATION OF BLOCK BOND® CLAW ADHESIVE
For strong hooves and effective treatments
Proper hoof care is crucial for the well-being, mobility, and performance of cattle. BLOCK BOND® helps professional users relieve pressure on healthy hooves in a targeted manner and carry out the treatment process efficiently. The stable, drip-free formula adheres reliably to sloped and vertical surfaces. Thanks to its high gap-filling capacity, it can level out unevenness in gaps up to approximately 6–10 mm.
Processing and
Accessories
To apply BLOCK BOND®, BLOCK BOND® SEMI-FAST, and BLOCK BOND® FAST, you must use cartridges and mixing systems that have been tested and approved by GLUETEC. Use only the appropriate DPM200M_green dispensing gun, which was specifically designed for the cartridge.
The use of other mixing nozzles or dispensing guns is considered improper use and may damage the cartridge. This expressly does not constitute grounds for a warranty claim.
Please also note:
- BLOCK BOND® adhesives are sold exclusively to commercial users.
- Avoid skin contact with the uncured adhesive.
- Wear appropriate protective clothing during application.
- Follow the respective product information and safety data sheets.
Pre-treatment
of the claw
The healthy claw to be bonded is professionally trimmed to create as flat a bonding surface as possible. Notching or roughening the surface can improve the adhesive’s bond to the claw.
Any gaps can be filled with the adhesive up to a gap width of approximately 6–10 mm. The surface should be clean and dust-free—ideally dry, with minimal residual moisture, but under no circumstances wet.
All steps, from applying the adhesive to pressing the block onto the claw, must be completed within the respective working time:
- BLOCK BOND®: approx. 15–20 seconds
- BLOCK BOND® SEMI-FAST: approx. 10–14 seconds
- BLOCK BOND® FAST: approx. 6–10 seconds
How to Use the
Hoof Adhesive
- Open the transparent twist-off cap by turning it a quarter turn to the left, and remove it from the cartridge. Do not discard the twist-off cap.
- Pull the green cap off the cartridge.
- Attach the mixing tube. Make sure the guide tabs are properly aligned.
- Then replace the transparent twist cap over the mixing tube and close it by turning it a quarter turn clockwise until the cap audibly clicks into place.
- Quickly squeeze out the adhesive using a suitable 1:1 dispensing gun to fill the mixing tube.
- Discard approximately one mixing tube’s worth of adhesive until a homogeneous mixture is achieved.
