IN-HOUSE DEVELOPMENT OF POLYURETHANE ADHESIVES
Polyurethane adhesives stand for versatile application possibilities, strong adhesion, elastic properties, and high process reliability. As ADHESIVE EXPERTS, GLUETEC develops its own PU formulations that combine technical performance, user-friendly processing, and specific market requirements.
Our development starts with the application: Which substrates are being bonded? What strength, viscosity, Shore hardness, processing time, or resistance is required? These requirements give rise to individual polyurethane adhesives – tailored to industrial processes, craft applications, or highly specialized markets.
Successfully launched PU product solutions

This resulted in successful product solutions, including several proprietary formulations that are patent pending.
One example is WIKO® TIMBER FIX ECO 180 – a patent-pending
2K polyurethane wood adhesive for the fast and strong fixation of
wooden workpieces.
With the WIKO® REPAIR UF series, GLUETEC offers user-friendly PU repair adhesives for professional applications. The variants WIKO®
REPAIR 30 UF, WIKO® REPAIR 90 UF and WIKO® REPAIR 300 UF enable different processing times and are suitable for reliable repair processes in industry, trade, and workshops.
Polyurethane adhesives for specialty markets
GLUETEC's strength also lies in the development of adhesive solutions for niche applications and highly specialized markets. BLOCK BOND® is based on a patent-pending technology for fast structural adhesives based on polyurea and was developed specifically for professional hoof care in cattle – for the reliable bonding of blocks made of wood, rubber, or plastic to the hoof.
HOOF FIX is a 2K polyurethane adhesive for use on the horse's hoof – especially for horseshoes, hoof boots, hoof repairs, and corrections.
These examples show: GLUETEC does not just develop standard products, but also transfers industrial adhesive expertise specifically to specialty applications with concrete practical benefits.
