Extra strong, especially fast, easy to use
BLOCK BOND® was developed for high load-bearing capacity and efficient workflows. The adhesive bond is resistant to urine and manure and impresses with high strength during the treatment and healing process.

User-friendly formulation
BLOCK BOND® was developed with professional users in mind. The innovative formula does not contain ingredients suspected of causing cancer and meets the relevant requirements and restrictions of the REACH regulation.
Another advantage: The mandatory user training in accordance with EU Regulation 2020/1149, often referred to as the “isocyanate license” , is not required. This means BLOCK BOND® reduces effort in application, training, and documentation – without compromising performance.

APPLICATION OF BLOCK BOND® HOOF ADHESIVE
For strong hooves and efficient treatments
Professional hoof care is crucial for the animal welfare, mobility, and performance of cattle. BLOCK BOND® supports professional users in specifically relieving healthy hooves and carrying out the treatment process efficiently. The non-sag, drip-free formula adheres reliably to inclined and vertical surfaces. Thanks to its high gap-filling capability, unevenness up to a gap width of approx. 6–10 mm can be compensated for.
processing and
accessories
For the application of BLOCK BOND®, BLOCK BOND® SEMI-FAST and BLOCK BOND® FAST you need the cartridges and mixer systems tested and approved by GLUETEC. Use only the matching dispensing gun DPM200M_green, which was specially developed for the cartridge.
The use of other mixing nozzles or dispensing guns is considered improper use and may damage the cartridge. This explicitly does not constitute grounds for complaint.
Please also note:
- BLOCK BOND® adhesives are supplied exclusively to commercial users.
- Skin contact with the uncured adhesive must be avoided.
- Suitable protective clothing must be worn during application.
- The respective product information and safety data sheets must be observed.
Pretreatment
of the hoof
The healthy hoof to be bonded is professionally trimmed so that the flattest possible bonding surface is created. Notching or roughening the surface can increase the adhesion of the adhesive to the hoof.
Any imperfections can be filled by the adhesive up to a gap width of approx. 6–10 mm . The surface should be clean and free of dust – ideally dry, at most slightly damp, but never wet.
All working steps from applying the adhesive to pressing the block onto the hoof must be completed within the respective processing time:
- BLOCK BOND®: approx. 15–20 seconds
- BLOCK BOND® SEMI-FAST: approx. 10–14 seconds
- BLOCK BOND® FAST: approx. 6–10 seconds
application of the
HOOF ADHESIVE
- Open the transparent twist lock of the cap with a quarter turn to the left and remove it from the cartridge. Do not discard the twist lock.
- Pull the green cap off the cartridge.
- Attach the static mixing tube. Ensure the guide tabs are correctly aligned.
- Then place the transparent twist lock back over the mixing tube and close it with a quarter turn to the right until the lock clicks audibly into place.
- Quickly dispense the adhesive using a suitable 1:1 dispensing gun to fill the mixing tube.
- Discard approximately the amount of one mixing tube until a homogeneous mixture is achieved.
