With WIKO® CABLE GREASE, GLUETEC is expanding its range in the field of lubrication, oils, and greases with a tough-adhering lubricant for industrial applications. After evaporation, the solvent-based aerosol forms a dry, non-dust-binding protective and lubricating film with sufficient layer thickness. This remains tough-elastic, water-resistant, and resistant to adhesion loss, pressure, and impact – even in cold conditions without becoming brittle.

This makes WIKO® CABLE GREASE suitable for applications in which components must be reliably protected, lubricated, and kept movable. Typical applications are found in steel and rolling mills, on transport and conveying systems, wire ropes, gears, and other mechanically stressed components.

Protection and lubrication under changing conditions

In everyday industrial use, lubricants must do more than simply provide slip properties. They are intended to reduce wear, prevent corrosion, and stabilize movement sequences. WIKO® CABLE GREASE supports these requirements with a lubricating film that has a noise-dampening effect, can help prevent jerky start-up, and is also suitable for preserving wire ropes.

Thanks to its heat resistance up to approx. +100 °C – briefly up to +180 °C – the product is also suitable for applications involving radiant heat as well as for outdoor use. The temperature range from -30 °C to +100 °C supports reliable use under changing environmental conditions.

Targeted application from the 400 ml spray can

WIKO® CABLE GREASE is available in a 400 ml spray can and can be sprayed on precisely. Before use, old lubricant residues should be removed with a suitable cleaner; in the case of heavy soiling, additionally with a brush or scraper. After vigorous shaking and a short spray test, the product is applied from a distance of approx. 25 cm. Depending on the application area and load, the application should be repeated at suitable intervals to prevent dry running and increased wear.
