Product information "ANAEROBE AKTIVATOR"
WIKO® ANAEROBIC ACTIVATOR accelerates the curing of anaerobic adhesives and sealants and ensures consistently excellent bonding results.
Its use is necessary in sub-optimal ambient conditions, such as cold, low humidity and thick layers of adhesive. Pre-treatment with the adhesive activator is also recommended when bonding highly absorbent and porous surfaces and inactive materials.
Pre-treatment with the activator causes the adhesive to cure significantly faster. Depending on the selected adhesive, the gap and the room temperature, the time it takes to achieve hand strength is reduced by approx. 20 - 120 seconds.
The activator is also used after bonding in order to cure the adhesive immediately and to be able to easily remove any adhesive that has accidentally and unintentionally dripped onto surfaces.
