GLUETEC Adhesives and Sealants for Use in Food-Contact Environments

Special national and international regulations apply, particularly when using adhesives and sealants in food-contact environments, such as kitchens, Caravans, trains, trucks, and airplanes. We are pleased to announce that our WIKO MS Polymers in the “Bonding & Sealing” category, as well as the structural adhesives WELDYX PROFESSIONAL BLACK 5 & 15, have once again received the stringent ISEGA certification for their safety in food-contact applications. This certification confirms that our products meet the high requirements of EU Regulation (EC) No. 1935/2004 as well as the German Food, Consumer Goods, and Feed Code (BGBI, p. 4253; 2022, p. 28).

The ISEGA Declaration of Safety guarantees that components manufactured with our adhesives and Sealants are safe for use in direct contact with food, provided they have been processed and cured in accordance with the specifications.
