Oryx Chemical acquires the GLUETEC GROUP

“LYON, France & GREUSSENHEIM, Germany & Czestochowa, Poland – September 26, 2025: Oryx Chemical, a company of the Oryx Partner Group, a leading European group for the distribution and refinement of specialty chemicals, has successfully completed the strategic acquisition of the Gluetec Group, a specialist in high-performance adhesives and custom chemical solutions.
The acquisition supports Oryx Chemical’s strategy under the leadership of Managing Director Erwan Menard to specifically expand its development and implementation capabilities for tailor-made products in small to medium volumes – a previously identified strategic area of development. This step follows the ongoing expansion in Europe and complements earlier acquisitions such as Acrom (2019) and Fenoplast (2023). It further strengthens Oryx Chemical’s expertise in the areas of transformation and customization.
The integration of the Gluetec Group brings immediate strategic advantages, including expanded service capabilities in repackaging, rebranding, customized solutions, and contract filling. In addition, it opens direct access to WIKO’s highly advanced laboratory and engineering resources, creating additional innovation potential as well as new opportunities in testing and certification development. The acquisition also consolidates Oryx Chemical’s market position in Germany and expands its presence in key Eastern European markets.
The founders, Wilhelm Kopp and Christine Kopp, thank customers, partners, and employees for their many years of trust and the successful joint development of the company. They emphasized that the merger with Oryx Chemical secures the long-term continuation of the Gluetec Group and places the company and its workforce in capable and future-oriented hands.
Fadi Adib, who has served as CEO of the Gluetec Group for almost a year, will continue to lead the company and act as the central point of contact within the Oryx Chemical Group.
