Our specially developed 2GLUE25 twin syringe and 2GLUE50 twin cartridge combine numerous advantages—from practical container sizes to a secure piston holder for clean handling when dispensing the contents, to the integrated mount for the GLUEMIX mixing tip, allowing you to process the product without having to spend time searching for the right accessories.
The optimized GLUETEC 2GLUE25 Twin syringe is now available in stores.
For a wide range of adhesive applications, container sizes with a minimum volume of 50 ml have become standard; however, in many cases, this exceeds the actual needs of the end user for small-scale applications. The cost-effective intermediate sizes of 25 ml and 12.5 ml total volume therefore prevent overpurchasing and thus the spoilage of the contents in the resealed container. In addition, the Bayonet lock ensures quick opening and resealing, as well as quick attachment and replacement of the mixing nozzles, since no safety elements need to be removed. The bayonet system is compatible with the cost-effective, low-leakage, and optimally adapted GLUEMIX mixing nozzle, but also fits a wide variety of other GLUETEC bayonet mixing nozzles. Thanks to our many years of experience working with two-component adhesives in a wide variety of packaging containers made from different materials, we know that PP and PBT are the optimal packaging materials for the Twin syringe. Accidental opening of the packaging back or spontaneous opening due to potential expansion of the contents is prevented or significantly impeded by a piston lock located inside the syringe body. This makes handling even safer for the end user. By optimizing the vent channels in the rear section of the container, the inevitable amount of trapped air has also been reduced as much as possible. This ensures consistent and clean application for the User when applying the Adhesive. Thanks to the one-sided V-shaped recess with a corresponding counterpart, the cap can only be replaced in the exact position from which it was removed. This prevents cross-contamination between the two component chambers when the package is resealed. The special design of the recess also prevents accidental opening (e.g., by children). To make it easier to squeeze the Twin syringe, the contact surfaces on the syringe and plunger have been enlarged. For an optimal view of the entire system, a GLUEMIX mixing tip can be attached to the syringe in a specially adapted recess.
