Our proprietary 2GLUE25 Twin syringe combines numerous advantages—from the practical 25-ml and 12.5-ml container sizes and the secure Plunger retainer for clean handling when dispensing the product, to the integrated mount for the GLUEMIX mixing tip, allowing the product to be processed without having to search for accessories.
In a wide range of adhesive applications, container sizes with a minimum volume of 50 ml have become standard; however, in many cases, this exceeds the actual needs of the end user’s small-scale applications. Thus, the economical intermediate sizes of 25 ml and 12.5 ml total volume prevent overpurchasing and the subsequent spoilage of the contents in the resealed packaging.
In addition, the bayonet closure ensures quick opening and resealing as well as rapid attachment and replacement of Mixing tips, since no locking elements need to be removed. The bayonet system is compatible with the cost-effective, low-loss, and optimally adapted GLUEMIX mixing tip, as well as with a wide variety of other GLUETEC bayonet mixing tips.
Thanks to our many years of experience working with two-component adhesives in a wide variety of packaging made from various materials, we know that PP and PBT are the optimal packaging solutions for these Twin syringes.
Accidental opening of the packaging from the back or spontaneous opening due to potential expansion of the contents is prevented or made extremely difficult by a Plunger retainer located inside the syringe body. This makes handling even safer for the end user.
Furthermore, by optimizing the venting channels located at the rear of the packaging, the inevitable amount of trapped air has been reduced as much as possible. This ensures consistent and clean handling for the user when dispensing the contents.
Thanks to the one-sided V-shaped recess with a corresponding counterpart, the cap can only be replaced in the exact position from which it was removed. This prevents cross-contamination between the two component chambers when the packaging is resealed. The special design of the recess also prevents accidental opening (e.g., by children).
To make it easier to squeeze the Twin syringe, the contact surfaces on the syringe and the plunger have been enlarged. A GLUEMIX mixing tip can be attached to the syringe in a specially adapted recess to optimally present the entire system.
