WIKO® SUPER GLUE ACTIVATOR accelerates the curing of cyanoacrylate adhesives and ensures consistently excellent bonding results.
Its use becomes necessary under suboptimal environmental conditions, such as cold temperatures, low humidity, and thick adhesive layers. Pretreatment with the adhesive activator is also recommended when bonding highly absorbent and porous surfaces as well as inactive materials.
Pretreatment with the activator causes the adhesive to cure significantly faster. The time required to reach handling strength is reduced by approx. 20–120 seconds, depending on the adhesive selected, the gap, and the room temperature.
In addition, the activator is also used after bonding to cure adhesive immediately and allow easy removal of any adhesive that has accidentally and unintentionally dripped onto surfaces.
