With WIKO® ROPE GREASE, GLUETEC is expanding its lineup of lubricating, oiling, and greasing products to include a tenacious lubricant for industrial applications. After the solvent has been flashed off, the solvent-based aerosol forms a dry, non-dust-binding protective and lubricating film with sufficient film thickness. This film remains tough and elastic, water-resistant, and resistant to adhesion, pressure, and impact—even in cold temperatures without becoming brittle.

This makes WIKO® ROPE GREASE suitable for applications where components must be reliably protected, lubricated, and kept moving. Typical applications include steel mills and rolling mills, transport and conveyor systems, wire ropes, gears, and other mechanically stressed components.

Protection and Lubrication Under Changing Conditions

In everyday industrial operations, lubricants must do more than simply provide lubricity. They are designed to reduce wear, prevent corrosion, and stabilize motion. WIKO® ROPE GREASE meets these requirements with a lubricating film that dampens noise, prevents jerky starts, and is also suitable for preserving wire ropes.

Thanks to its heat resistance up to approximately +100 °C—and up to +180 °C for short periods—the product is also suitable for applications involving radiant heat as well as for outdoor use. The temperature range of -30 °C to +100 °C ensures reliable performance under varying environmental conditions.

Precise application from the 400 ml spray can

WIKO® ROPE GREASE is available in a 400-ml spray can and can be applied precisely. Before application, remove any old lubricant residue with a suitable Cleaner; for heavy soiling, use a brush or scraper as well. After shaking vigorously and performing a brief spray test, apply the product from a distance of approximately 25 cm. Depending on the application and load, the application should be repeated at appropriate intervals to prevent dry running and increased wear.
