Elasticity

Elasticity is an important term in physics that describes the ability of a body to deform after an external force without breaking and then return to its original shape. This property is particularly important for materials used in applications with regular deformations.

This is important in adhesive technology when the joint is subjected to special demands.

The elastic adhesive can tolerate movements that occur between the parts to be joined. In addition to their elasticity, these adhesives also have high internal strength (cohesion). They allow strong adhesive connections that also have elastic properties.
