Polyurea (Polyurea)

Polyureas and polyuretanes describe the products of different chemical reactions. When polyalcohols (polyols) react with polyisocyanates, polyuretanes are formed; polyamines react with polyisocyanates to form polyureas (polyurea). The resulting plastics can have a wide range of mechanical properties, which can be adjusted depending on the starting materials chosen. The adhesives of the PURYX series can be assigned to the polyurea class and are characterized as structural adhesives with an excellent adhesion spectrum.
