Dispersion

Dispersion (Latin: dispersio = division / dispergere = 'distribute', 'spread', 'scatter') refers to the distribution of particles, atoms, molecules or other smallest units in a mixture of at least two substances that are not or hardly in each other are soluble. The most well-known dispersion are the fat particles in milk.
