elasticity

Elasticity is an important term in physics that describes the ability of a body to deform without breaking after an external force is applied and then return to its original shape. This property is particularly important for materials used in applications with regular deformations.

In adhesive bonding technology, this is significant when the joint is subjected to special demands.

The elastic adhesive can tolerate any movements that occur between the parts to be joined. In addition to their elasticity, these adhesives also have a high internal strength (cohesion). They therefore allow strong adhesive joints that also have elastic properties.
