Flash-off-time

Flash-off-time is an important factor to consider when using 2-component adhesives. It refers to the amount of time that elapses before an adhesive loses its flowability and begins to retain its shape and strength.

The flash-off-time varies depending on the type of adhesive and can range from a few minutes to several hours. Insufficient flash-off-time can result in poor distribution of the two components and the consequent incomplete or weak bond. On the other hand, excessive flash-off-time can cause the adhesive to become too firm to produce a consistent bond.

Overall, the flash-off-time is an essential factor in the effectiveness and reliability of 2-component adhesives and should be carefully considered when using adhesives.
