Ultrasonic degreasing

Ultrasonic degreasing is a process that is used in many areas of industry to clean components and workpieces. The process is based on the application of ultrasonic waves in a cleaning medium to loosen dirt particles from the surface.

In the ultrasonic bath, the parts to be cleaned are placed in the cleaning medium, which can contain different chemical components depending on the application. The ultrasonic waves generate pressure waves in the medium, which produce the finest bubbles, which trigger tiny cleaning impulses when they collapse on the surface of the parts to be cleaned. In this way, dirt particles are effectively removed from the surface.

The method has the advantage that it can also reach places that are difficult to access and can remove even the smallest particles that could not be removed using conventional methods. Ultrasonic degreasing cleaning is also gentler on the surface than other cleaning methods as it does not scratch or damage.

Ultrasonic degreasing is an important part of industrial cleaning technology and is used in a variety of applications, from cleaning mechanical engineering components to removing contaminants from medical instruments and implants.
