Adhesive forces

Adhesive forces are an important part of adhesive bonding. They refer to the force that acts between the materials to bond them together. These forces are the result of chemical, electrostatic and mechanical interactions between the materials and the adhesive.

They can be influenced by various factors, such as the type of materials to be bonded together, the type of adhesive and the conditions under which the adhesive is applied. Thorough cleaning and pre-treatment of the surfaces to be joined is important to achieve maximum adhesion.

A strong adhesive force can guarantee a durable and reliable bond, while a weak adhesive force can lead to breakage or malfunction.
