Tensile test
A tensile test is a commonly performed experimental procedure to determine the mechanical properties of a material. It involves subjecting a sample of material to a tensile load under controlled conditions to determine its elasticity, ductility and tensile strength. These properties are crucial for the use of the material in various applications.
The determination of the strength properties of solid materials such as adhesives is carried out according to the standards DIN 53504:2017-03 and ASTM D1002-10(2019).
