Polyol
Polyols are important components in the production of polyurethanes, which are used in many applications from the automotive to the furniture industry. They are chemical compounds with several functional groups that serve as reaction partners with isocyanates and thus contribute to the cross-linking of the polymer structure.
Polyols can be made from various raw materials and are produced in different forms and properties depending on the area of application, e.g. as rigid or flexible foams, adhesives, coatings or elastomers.
The properties of polyols can be specifically modified by the choice of raw materials, process parameters and chemical composition in order to meet specific requirements.
