Polyol

Polyols are important components in the production of polyurethanes, which are used in many applications from the automotive to the furniture industry. These are chemical compounds with several functional groups that act as reaction partners with isocyanates and thus contribute to the crosslinking of the polymer structure.

Polyols can be made from different raw materials and are produced in different forms and properties depending on the area of application, such as rigid or flexible foams, adhesives, coatings or elastomers.

The properties of polyols can be modified through the choice of raw materials, process parameters and chemical composition in order to meet specific requirements.
