Crosslinking

Cross-linking is an important process in chemistry and materials science in which molecules or polymer chains are linked together by chemical bonds. Cross-linking creates a network of compounds that gives the adhesive strength and stability.

This involves the chemical reaction, of the polymer chains in the liquid adhesive, which leads to the three-dimensional bond and thus cures the adhesive.
