Stability

In adhesive technology, stability describes the ability of a liquid adhesive to maintain its shape or position as far as possible. A high level of stability is an important characteristic for many adhesives in various applications.

Stability is influenced by various factors, such as chemical composition or density. The manufacturing process and processing can also influence the stability.

There are various methods to measure and evaluate the stability of materials. For example, material samples can be tested under load or shear forces to determine their strength and stiffness.

A stable adhesive is a product that does not drip or run during application because it is hardly flowing. This is especially important when applying to vertical or overhead surfaces.
