Polyurea
Polyureas and polyurethanes are produced by different chemical reactions: polyols reacting with polyisocyanates form polyurethanes, while polyamines reacting with polyisocyanates form polyureas. The resulting polymers can exhibit a wide range of mechanical properties, which can be tailored by selecting the appropriate raw materials. The adhesives of the PURYX range belong to the polyurea class and stand out as structural adhesives with an excellent adhesion spectrum.
